The Hidden Treasures of Makati: Fashion Haven Chronicles

Hi Guys! here's an update to my agenda on my last blog "Plans.for.today.4/16/2012".

So last April 16th I went to Makati with my friend and co-blogger Kristin, I have had always admire her clothes having these vintage and frilly feel which I have thought to be very expensive. Little did I know that Ms. Kristin here has a secret a fashion haven kept inside the Makati's concrete jungle.

(TRUMPETS SINGS!) Makati Cinema Square. Yes, for all those young fashionista girls and guys out there who lack a little moolah should check this out.

Inside the said establishments are series of thrift stores where you could get hundreds of FASHOWN pieces that you could mix and match to your liking. Tank Tops, Pants, Shorts, Skirt, Blouse, Polos, Shirts, Blazers, Coats, Shoes, Bags, name it and they have it there. (except for accessories though)

There are two stores that caught me eye and my pocket, one is Mohara, and the other one is unnamed. (there were no signage or any names posted) Mohara is a bit more expensive than the other one, but you'll surely drown with what she has to offer; while the other shop was smaller, but in my opinion, is more fashion.

You guys are probably curious about the price range... Well, Mohara's price range goes to 50php to 260php, while unnnamed store goes to 20php to 700php (for complicated trenches shipped from other countries). With my 600php that time I was able to get 2 blazers for 50php each, a denim jacket for 50, a hippie jacket for 150, a summer trench for 290, and 4 tops for 100php only. In summary 9 clothes for 600php ONLY.

Check it out yourselves guys I'm sure you'll definitely enjoy the experience.
